Community Land
Plan of Management North Richmond
Release Area

Hawkesbury City Council are holding a joint Public Hearing and Community Meeting between 7pm & 8pm on Wednesday 23 November 2016 at the North Richmond Community Centre (William Street, North Richmond).

This meeting is to discuss the Plan of Management for the North Richmond Release Area which includes Peel Park.

As part of the Voluntary Planning Agreement and in addition to providing 85 acres of open space and parklands for the community, the Developer has been asked to fund and undertake improvement works in Peel Park.

A Plan of Management governs the way community land can be used and managed. A Plan of Management categorises the land, authorises the granting of leases or licenses and provides a set of management strategies.

The community (both existing and soon to be new residents) are invited to have a say on what you would like to see in terms of community land, use of Community Land as a sports ground, management of community land as a park and management of community land categorised as an area of cultural significance.

Delivery of these works will be the first of many items to be undertaken by North Richmond Joint Venture (Redbank) that will benefit the community as a whole.

This meeting is the place to be if you would like to have a say in the direction your community land takes. Have your say regarding what you would like to see, not like to see or take the opportunity to put forward any ideas for this area which you may have.

If you would like to attend no registration is necessary, just turn up on the night.
